Here's a picture of the whole gang from L-R: Doug (Kyle's dad), Mercer, me, Todd, Kyle, Cynthia (Kyle's aunt). It was really nice having a "normal" night out. We have been out to dinner and lunches and stuff a lot since we've been here -- but the majority of them are facilitated. This was light, fun, and a great break from all of the serious adoption stuff we've been doing the past week. Wow - has it only been a week?! It feels like much longer. Kyle did well at the day's event, but Academy didn't win this meet. I believe BYU won. Kyle hit a Personal Record earlier in the week, though.

Baby's first Sushi
You know how there are all of those "Baby's first" milestones.... wonder why you don't ever hear "Baby's first Sushi?" Mercer didn't really eat sushi, but he had the next best thing: a bottle in a sushi restaurant! Wonder if he gets tired of formula? We imagine that the bottle he ate yesterday morning was an omlette? The one he ate a couple of hours ago - chocolate cake? We were joking around about the different levels of sleep and his dreams. What could he be dreaming about at this age? BOTTLES?!
